- Introduced flagship Shiny Pumpkin Line
- Presented Hanam’s symbolic flower, lily of the valley
Aesthetic skincare brand FAU announced that on December 11, Mayor Lee Hyun-jae of Hanam City visited the company’s headquarters to discuss community partnership initiatives and potential municipal support for local businesses.
During the visit, Mayor Lee reviewed FAU’s achievements in the global K-beauty market—including exports to 43 countries—as well as the company’s ongoing ESG-driven social contribution efforts. The two sides also explored opportunities for future collaboration at the city level.
Mayor Lee showed strong interest in FAU’s flagship product range, the Shiny Pumpkin Line, after hearing details about the line’s distinctive positioning. FAU explained that the line leverages Korea-grown “danghobak” (sweet pumpkin) extract, establishing it as a globally differentiated offering.
To commemorate the visit, FAU presented lily of the valley, the symbolic flower of Hanam City. The flower represents civic values rooted in peace and reflects the city’s bright future.
Mayor Lee also congratulated FAU on receiving the “US$1 Million Export Tower” award, encouraging the company by saying, “I hope you will take on the challenge of winning the US$3 Million Export Tower next year.”
Mayor Lee and his delegation toured FAU’s workspaces and testing facilities, offering encouragement to employees and listening to feedback from the field.
FAU CEO Mihwa Choi said, “We will continue striving to contribute to the local economy and the K-beauty industry through close collaboration with Hanam City.”
